It looks like a circuit board with a coax connector, but it's really an Isometric Helical Antenna, 2.4Ghz-5.8Ghz Circularly Polarized Antenna UWB Antenna for Transmission and Reception of Radio Signals. It'll connect to my RTL-SDR USB dongle and hopefully get me some radio signals on my laptop. The RTL-SDR dongle is receive only, which is perfect because I'm still studying for my license to transmit, so it's a good tool for learning. The ham radio chatroom I'm in says it's sorcery, so I don't have high hopes, but it was cheap and worth a shot. I'll be testing it this weekend.
Let's see what I can do with this thing...
